We have good news on the CIS front. We have an appointment in a couple of weeks to get fingerprinted. We also have a favorable home study and lack two documents - Dusty's health insurance proof of coverage and our pet vaccination coverage. Once we get that and turn it in the home study should be complete. Once we get our home study complete and our fingerprints done then we wait......we wait for our CIS approval. It is the I-171H paperwork with officially allows us to bring a child back to the US. This is "the paperwork" that we need. And of course all the dossier paperwork. We are getting close on the dossier paperwork. I sent our marriage license to California to be apostilled. Hopefully it won't take too long.
It is still very exciting and Dusty and I are both reading and learning about children in orphanages and everything they have gone through in their lives and how it impacts the child and as a result can impact us as a family when we come home.
