Dossier Update

Well it has been a while since I posted. Not much new to report. Our dossier was translated and sent to the Kazakhstan Consulate. It should be there for about 8 weeks before it goes to Kazakhstan.

Here is our timeline so far:
July 13, 2007: Application submitted to Childrens Hope
July 28, 2007: Application accepted by Childrens Hope
September 27, 2007: Dossier turned into Childrens Hope (did not have I-171H approval)
September 28, 2007: Dossier sent from local office to St. Louis
October 6, 2007: I-171H approval!!!!
October 31, 2007: Dossier translated and sent to the Kazakhstan Consulate
January 15, 2008: Dossier registered at Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan

We continue to think about Baby Baker...alot. Baby Baker is on our mind all the time and we are hoping that he/she is being well taken care of and loved. We can't wait until we get to travel and meet you for the first time and then we can't wait until we can bring you home with us so we can love you forever!

I was in the mall this past weekend and stopped into a flag store and I was surprised to find that they had small flags of many countries including Kazakhstan. So...I picked up a couple for us. Dusty and I each took our flag to work to proudly display on our desk.
