International Adoption Clinic Appointment

Today we had our visit with Vanderbilt International Adoption Clinic. It was very thorough. We had three individual meetings. 1st appointment was with the psychologist, she went over alot of the issues that the children can experience when needs are not meet. We found alot of this to be similar information to the DVD series that we went through called Because They Waited. Our 2nd appointment was with the MD. She went through many of the medical terminology that we could expect to encounter and she also gave us growth chart sheets and went over "red flags", etc. Our 3rd and final meeting was with the Occupation Therapist. She went over some developmental milestones and things we could be on the lookout for. Because we have done so much research none of this was too new but we felt great to get signed up with them and went over the process of emailing them our photos and video before we accept our referral. Dusty and I both could not imagine traveling without doing this.
