Still Waiting
I called our agency this week to see if our dossier was still sitting at the MOFA and it is. It has been there for 11 weeks. Our coordinator indicated that they would be checking into why some dossiers are still at the MOFA and see if they would be moving soon. I know we still have a wait in front of us but it would be nice to see some movement in that area. There are some families from our agency that have traveled and are waiting now to go back and another family that is going to be leaving soon. So this is good news and it is nice to see things moving. We are still confident in the path that we have decided to take and are just trying to stay patient.

We completely understand how difficult the waiting can be. We were at the MOFA for from Dec through Feb. Hang in there :)
Isn't the waiting so hard.
I am with CHI and have been at the MOE since Nov. 30th and am just trying to be patient and not let anything bother me.
Hang in there--it is encouraging that we are seeing some movement in our agency.
Thank you for your comment on our blog. Shane and I are very open about our experience and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Before you know it, you'll be getting "the call" :)
Hi there!
You left a comment on my blog so I had to come and check out yours. Hang in there- I know it's tough but it will all be worth it in the end. Before you know it, you'll get that call and be on your way to finding your child. Good luck!
Hi there,
We, too, can relate, and we are proof that you do eventually get out of the MFA. We went in in early December -- not sure when we got out, but we are traveling to Ust on Friday.
Here's our blog if you want to check in: www.ourkazakson.blogspot.com
We took forever to get the blog up and running, so don't be surprised when you see that there's LITTLE content. :-)
We're cheering your dossier on through the ministries.
